ASUS has unveiled three Expert notebooks, including the ExpertBook B5 (B5602C), ExpertBook B5 Flip (B5602F) and the series’ first workstation, the ExpertBook B6 Flip (B6602F). New laptops will be demonstrated at IFA 2022 in Berlin.

ASUS ExpertBook B5 and ExpertBook B5 Flip are lightweight 16-inch models with a 16:10 screen aspect ratio. In particular, the ExpertBook B5 weighs 1.4 kg, the lightest among ASUS 16-inch laptops. New OLED displays are capable of displaying 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
The design of the ExpertBook B5 Flip variant allows you to freely rotate the display, effectively turning the laptop into a tablet, and the kit comes with a stylus charged from the laptop itself. Literally in 15 seconds, it is able to charge for 45 minutes of work. The models received options for modern processors up to Intel Core i7-1270P, discrete Intel Arc A350M video cards, 40 GB of RAM each, support for RAID and WiFi 6E.

ASUS ExpertBook B6 Flip is a mobile workstation designed for professional architects, engineers and designers. The manufacturer conducted a series of tests to ensure that its hardware is compatible with software for modeling and rendering, 3D animation and other tasks. Moreover, the model is certified to work with the products of leading professional software developers, including 3ds Max, MicroStation and Vectorworks.
The workstation is equipped with a 16-inch swivel screen, optional miniLED version with a maximum brightness of up to 1000 nits. The buyer will choose from the latest processors up to the Intel Core i9-12950HX.
The total TDP (CPU and GPU) is 135W in high performance mode. In addition, NVIDIA Dynamic Boost 2.0 technology is supported. What’s more, using the NVIDIA RTX A2000 with 8GB of memory enables real-time ray tracing, fast processing of AI algorithms, allowing you to create photorealistic renders, run demanding AI applications, or create immersive VR environments.

Additional features of the ExpertBook B5 and ExpertBook B6 models include support for the Intel vPro Enterprise and Essentials platforms, optional TPM 2.0 chip, MIL-STD 810H compliance, and EPEAT Gold and Energy Star certifications. There is an AI noise reduction system for conversations even in noisy environments, a physical “curtain” of the webcam lens, as well as support for the latest Intel WiFi 6E protocol, which, in particular, provides a new level of video communication quality.
