Lenovo has announced the release of its flagship Legion Y9000K laptop for gamers with high hardware requirements. In its configuration, it will be comparable to a powerful desktop, focused on the latest hits in the gaming industry.
The presentation of the Lenovo Legion Y9000K will take place on June 30th. The “heart” of the novelty, depending on the modification, will be the Intel Core Intel i7-12800HX processor (up to 4.8 GHz) or Core i9-12900HX (up to 5 GHz). In terms of graphics, discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti (175 W) are announced. The cooling system based on the evaporation chamber with two fans will be responsible for the removal of heat from the productive iron.
The laptop motherboard based on the Intel HM670 chipset received support for DDR5-4800 RAM up to 32 GB, as well as the ability to install two SSDs with a PCIe 4.0 interface. The battery capacity of the novelty will be 99 Wh, and the power of the complete power supply unit will be 300 W.
The 16-inch Lenovo Legion Y9000K display will have a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 240Hz, a brightness of up to 500 nits, and a contrast ratio of 1200:1. Notebook dimensions will be 358.1 x 263.5 x 19.4 mm with a weight of 2.33 kg. Among other features of the model, the RGB backlighting of the case and the presence of two Thunderbolt 4 ports are noted. The company will announce the prices of various modifications of the gaming novelty later.
