Xiaomi has announced Book Pro 2022 laptops built on the Intel Alder Lake hardware platform. The operating system is Windows 11.
The family includes laptops with an OLED touch display measuring 14 and 16 inches diagonally. In the first case, a 2.8K format matrix with a DisplayHDR 500 certificate is used, in the second – 4K with a DisplayHDR 400 certificate. Both laptops provide 100 percent coverage of sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. We are talking about support for Dolby Vision and 10-bit color representation. Durable Gorilla Glass 3 is responsible for protection against damage. The screen occupies 90% of the cover area.
In the maximum configuration, a Core i7-1260P processor with twelve cores is installed, including four productive and eight energy efficient ones. The clock frequency reaches 4.7 GHz. The chip includes an Intel Iris Xe graphics accelerator. For some modifications, the use of a discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 accelerator is provided.
The amount of RAM LPDDR5-5200 is 16 GB. For data storage, a 512 GB solid-state drive with a PCIe 4.0 interface is responsible.
The laptops are 14.9mm thick. Weight – 1.5 kg for the younger model and 1.8 kg for the older one. The price starts at $880 and $970 respectively.
